Travels Buddhist Temples
I just returned from a wonderful trip to South Korea, where
I met a man named Geoff MacKay. He suggested I see the Buddhist
Temples, so I took his advice and was very pleased. A peaceful
bicycle ride of about 5 miles led me to the ancient temples.
They are still used and maintained beautifully. We also encountered
some young Monks practicing their martial arts, but tried not
to disturb their sacred rituals.
The trip to the countryside provided us with a dramatically different experience
to the bustle of Seoul. It's amazing that a country of so
many, with comparatively little land, keeps their open space
so beautiful. All of the citizens we had the opportunity to
speak with were very proud of their country, which makes sense
considering the number of invading forces they have thwarted
throughout their history.
