Instructor Geoff Mackay
blazes down the Mexican Beach in his convertible hummer.
Sand rooster-tails fly into the air as his students watch
him aim for a large wave hitting the beach. The military
style vehicle slows and Geoff is slammed into his seatbelt
as we hear the engine rev-up to maximum RPM's. MacKay's
vehicle tears through the sand and water like a knife
through butter as he spins out into a perfect 180 degree
turn in order to head back to the staging area. As Geoff
Mackay slides to a stop in front of some 30 students he
stands up in the front seat and says,"Never slow
down in deep sand! If you don't keep your momentum and
get stuck you can have fun digging out your own vehicle!
Lesson number 1!" The class applauds as he orders
them to the class room. Nobody has an attention-getter
like Geoff Mackay.
