Geoff on the Golf CourseI just got back from a great round of golf. The course is fantastic shape, although the green on 17 is still recovering from the recent damage.The front nine was marginal, I ended up shooting 3 over, even with an eagle on 4 and birdies on 2 and 7. 9 was a nightmare, as I pulled my drive, and after a recovery into the fairway, overshot the green into the bunkers on the right. Seven strokes on a par four hurts. However, I'm sure you all know how quickly I can regain confidence. I came very close to a hole in one on the short par 3, just around the bend. 16 was beautiful, I went over the trees, and had an easy 7 iron to the green. The sun was also rising over the back corner, so the views were breathtaking |
