Davison to Suzuki
My latest motorcycle purchase was a 2002 Suzuki GSXR1000K2. The
K2 stands for "king" gixxer, as I always point out to
my good friend Geoff MacKay. You see, he is still stuck in the stone
ages with his antiquated CBR900RR. I began riding crotch rockets
on a CBR600, after riding his 900, but it's been a few years, so
I have outgrown the bike.
I love my gixxer, it's torquey from idle up to about 7000rpm, where
it gets crazy fast. Third gear wheelies are almost unavoidable,
if you're really on the throttle, but John MacKay has been helping
me with keeping the front wheel on the ground at speed.
